An EnerGuide evaluation is the key that unlocks the major rebate programs. Here's a snapshot of what's on the table for homeowners in and around Edmonton.
Home Energy Retrofit Accelerator
City of Edmonton rebates on insulation, windows and heating equipment — plus a 20% bonus when you complete three upgrades within 18 months.
Loan & evaluation support
Federal support toward energy-efficient retrofits, with a contribution of up to $600 toward your pre- and post-retrofit evaluations.
For builders
Builders can earn a $200 rebate per EnerGuide label from the City of Edmonton and differentiate homes with verified certification.
How it works
Five steps, roughly two weeks from evaluation to report.
We schedule a visit and let you know how to prep — clear access to your attic hatch, mechanical room, and any wood-burning appliances.
Measurements, photos and mechanical details are recorded, followed by exhaust safety checks and a blower door test.
With the home depressurized, we walk through together so you can see and feel exactly where energy — and money — is escaping.
Within about two weeks you receive your EnerGuide label, homeowner sheet, and a prioritized upgrade report submitted to NRCan.
Complete your upgrades, book the post-retrofit evaluation, and we help finalize the paperwork to unlock every rebate you qualify for.
